The Virtual Library

Welcome to St Joseph’s, Castleford Virtual Library! Here you’ll find a broad selection of books covering all sorts of topics for all primary year groups, from Early Years Foundation Stage all the way up to Year Six!

The Virtual Library is split into two areas: Read-along Stories, and Recommended Epic! Reads.

Read-along Stories are collections of teacher-recommended children’s books hosted on line. These videos all feature the words in the book, so children can read-along with the story as it is read to them.

Recommended Epic! Reads links with our new online virtual library system, Epic! Teachers have chosen a selection of stories for their year groups, which can be accessed via your child’s Epic! account. Simply click the link, and when prompted, enter your child’s class code to access the story.
